Orchard Hill friends and families, Chasen & Casey here. We have been in deep conversations with our partner church as they have been in major transition with pastors and staff changes. We have had major setbacks that have brought on major hardships with us and The Orchard Hill Community. We have struggled with OHC remaining to function on this property. We have earnestly sought direction and wise counsel with the Orchard Hill executive board and our advisory board. We have connected with other churches in the local area to see if they would be interested in partnering to offer summer programming as well as a long-term partnership to meet the needs of our community. The following is the outcome of our search and conversations for new property and new partners. The Orchard Hills partnership has ended with Marathon Church. Casey and Chasen are no longer affiliated with Marathon Church. Marathon will be continuing the afterschool program through the end of the school year and will be reaching out regarding summer programs for the current location.

Orchard Hill and its culture will take a pause to reflect and relocate. During this pause Casey and Chasen are moving all ministries to Alive Weslyn Church & The Church Gathering. Casey will be over the kid's ministry at Alive and will offer an established preschool called The Growing Place and are in the works of offering a summer camp that we are trying to get going for Summer 2024.

This has been a very hard journey this year for us and has not gone the way we had wanted it to. The Orchard Hill families have been the reason why we wake up and face hardships to keep things going. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances we are unable to reach an agreement with Marathon and are having to relocate.

We have so many memories and stories that will last a lifetime. We pray God will continue to provide in ways we can’t see physically right now for our families.
